Vancouver Youth Model United Nations (VYMUN) is an annual event led by WPGA Senior School students designed to introduce the workings of the United Nations to an audience of youth (students in grades 6 to 10). Since its inception in 2005, VYMUN has become a distinguished event with students from many of the Lower Mainland’s schools, and even those outside of British Columbia, attending.
We strive to deliver a life-like representation of the United Nations and its working committees, to offer a high quality of public speaking and debate, to foster a passion for positive change and social responsibility, to provide an opportunity for students to develop the skills needed to become leaders for a better world and above all, continue in a tradition of excellence.
By becoming educated about the issues that affect our world, students become motivated to truly make a difference. Through financial sponsorship, we hope to continue in these educational endeavours so that VYMUN can offer an outstanding conference that will provide an exceptional learning experience for many students. In recognition of your donation, VYMUN thanks it sponsors in a number of ways, such as acknowledging sponsors in the opening and closing ceremony speeches, on our website, as well as on social media. Sponsor names and company logos are also printed in our delegate handbooks and displayed on various materials.
We appreciate any donation given to support this year’s conference. For sponsorship or any further questions you may have with regards to a donation please contact us directly below through this form.
